The Colorful Lantern Festival

Every year, the forest village held a colorful lantern festival. All the animals bought beautiful lanterns to decorate the trees. Seeing her friends' bright, colorful lanterns, Little Rabbit wished she had one too.

But Little Rabbit didn't have enough to buy a fancy lantern like her friends. She felt sad and worried she'd have nothing to bring to the festival at all.

Her mother suggested they make one together instead, using scraps of colored paper, thin twigs, and dye made from garden flowers. They painted the lantern with swirling patterns in colors like nothing anyone else had.

On festival night, Little Rabbit proudly carried the lantern she had made herself. Her friends gathered around, amazed by its wonderfully unique patterns and vivid colors — unlike any other lantern there.

That night, Little Rabbit learned that a lantern made with your own hands and heart can be even more beautiful and precious than one bought ready-made. She smiled happily all through the festival.

Something made with your own creativity and heart is more valuable and worth being proud of than anything bought ready-made.
