The Pond Friends and the Plastic Bag

Beside a village lay a clear emerald-green pond, bursting with life. Frogs, fish, and ducks lived there together happily, splashing and finding food every day amid a bloom of pink lotus flowers.

One day, a strong wind blew a plastic bag from the nearby market into the pond, where it tangled around the lotus plants in the middle. It blocked the sunlight and clogged the water flow, making it hard for the small fish to swim as the water began to turn murky.

A young frog spotted the problem and tried leaping over to pull the plastic bag free all by himself. But it was tangled too tightly around the lotus plants and far too heavy for him alone. He tried and tried, but couldn't get it loose.

The young frog called out to his friends for help. A duck gripped it with her beak and pulled, the fish pushed from below, and a dragonfly flew around scouting for any other hidden trash. Working together, they finally tugged the plastic bag free.

With the pond clear and clean once more, the friends planted extra reeds together to help filter the water even better, and agreed to check on the pond together every morning. The pond became bright and full of life again, all thanks to everyone working together.
