The Bee Who Worked Too Hard
⏱ 4–6 min
A small, fluffy white cloud floated in the summer sky, watching a bigger cloud beside her turn dark gray and let rain pour down, watering the trees and fields below until they glistened.
The little cloud tried hard to make herself release some rain, but not a single drop would fall. She felt left out, wishing she could help like the other clouds did.
A kind wind blew by and noticed the little cloud looking sad. She asked gently what was wrong, and the little cloud shared how much she wished she could make it rain like her friends.
The wind explained gently that every cloud needs to gather enough moisture before it can turn into rain — each one has its own timing. She invited the little cloud to drift along with her calmly and patiently.
The little cloud drifted along with the wind day after day, gathering moisture from the wide sea. One day, she finally turned dark gray and, for the first time, released a gentle rain onto the parched earth below, proud of herself at last.
Everyone has their own timing — there's no need to rush and compare ourselves to others.
A little fluffy cloud watches other clouds give rain to water the trees below, but she can't do it yet and feels left out — until a kind wind teaches her that every cloud has its own time to be ready.
